Powder's Story...
Powder is a gorgeous seven year old White cat with soft fur, hazel eyes and the cutest pink nose. He was saved on his last day at the shelter and was lucky enough to survive over two months there. He's put all that behind him and is ready for the next chapter. Powder is so friendly and loves people - he purrs all the time! He loves pets and rubs and is grateful for attention. Powder will sit on your lap and watch TV with you (and you get to choose the channel!) Powder sleeps with the kids he's living with in his foster home. He has a lot of love to give and will be a great addition to a family. Look at that face - how can you resist? Call to meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Powder, a Sherman Oaks Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
