Gigi and Boomer came to us as victims of a divorce. Gigi and Boomer are litter mates and have been together their entire lives. They are a very bonded pair and we would really like to keep them together. Gigi and Boomer are 7.5 years old, spayed/neutered and current on all their vaccines. The pair loves to go for walks and love to ride in the car. They are great with little kids, which is unusual for Dachshund and they get on well with other dogs. They are very housetrained and have perfect manners in the home. The adoption fee for both of them is $350.00. If you are interested, please fill out an application. This pair is perfect in any home and would make great companions to a senior couple or single. Both dogs are in great health. We had them checked with a blood test by our vet. If you are interested in meeting them please fill out an application on our homepage. Both dogs are currently on diet food, they are very overweight. For more info on this very sweet pair, please email us at Dee@luckydogrescue.org
Lucky Dog Rescue came into existence after one individual started saving one dog at a time back in late March of 2004. It began as a Dalmatian rescue, originally named Phoenix Dalmatian Station.
After seeing so many nice, highly adoptable dogs sitting in concrete cells in the county shelters, being put to sleep when no one came to the rescue, it quickly evolved into an all breed commitment, and we began saving several other breeds and mixes too! We are now a growing group of dog lovers who help all breeds and are committed to giving dogs a second chance at finding a forever home.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our dogs can be seen at weekly adoption events throughout the valley or by appointment. Please visit http://www.luckydogrescue.org for the most current information.
Our current adoption fee for adults (> 8 months old) is $250 and for puppies (< 8 months old) the fee is $300. The Adoption fee for senior dogs (7+ years) is $200. These fees cover the vaccines, microchipping, neuter/spay surgery, county license, and vet check for the dog.
Before an adoption can take place we do require that all potential adopters fill out an application. Once the application has been approved a home visit may be conducted. All adopters must sign a contract in order to finalize the adoption. Go to http://www.luckydogrescue.org/adoption-center/dogs to find a dog and submit an application.
