Sherman's Story...
Sherman is about a year and a half old. He came to us as a puppy, was adopted and then dumped at the shelter. He was listed before as a beagle mix, but we’re not sure we see a lot of beagle in him. Sherman has two different color eyes! We believe he is housebroken. Sherman hasn’t been back with us long and appears to be fairly shy but he does like playing with Parker. Sherman is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Sherman comes with a free exam at Towne Square Animal Hospital within a week of his adoption. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Owensboro Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Owensboro, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Owensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
