Dan's Story...
Dan is a 12 week, 15 pound (as of 11/30) Labrador mix. He gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. Dan very much enjoys playing with his foster doggie siblings and lounging around with them in bed. He enjoys playing with small balls and stuffed animals. At his young age, he is energetic with short bursts of energy followed by cute naps!

**Puppies are hard work. If you are not ready for a 'new baby' please adopt an adult or senior who need you! In addition, we cannot guarantee the size of a puppy.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dan, a New York Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New York, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
