Coach's Story...
Meet chocolate chiweenie boy Coach! This unique looking boy has the doxie personality, as well as a long body and snout! Coach was left in a shelter after his owner passed away. He's 7 years, 15 pounds. Coach sure does have doxie traits. He can be feisty but easily won over with sweet talk and belly rubs. Then he's your buddy and gives lots of kisses. Coach gets along with the dogs in his foster home. The ideal home for him will not include an alpha male dog. Coach does not start trouble, but he'll not back down from any tossed his way! Coach loves to cuddle on the sofa with his people, has good potty skills and walks well on a leash. He's a very nice companion. Please reach out and/or submit an application to adopt at http://www.almosthomerescue.org/onlineforms/adoptform.htm Coach's adoption fee is $200 to help rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coach, a Andalusia Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Andalusia, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Andalusia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Andalusia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Andalusia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Andalusia paves the way for another one to be saved.
