Marigold's Story...
This beautiful beagle is Marigold, a sweet and loving girl of about 10 years old that is looking for a wonderful home of her home. Miss Marigold should be snuggled up on the couch with a loving family by her side, not wondering when someone will notice her and offer her a good home. She was found as a stray and it's surprising that no one ever came looking for her. It may be for the best though because poor Marigold had severe dental disease that was left untreated for quite a while. Our veterinarian extracted many diseased teeth during her spay and also noted that Marigold has a heart murmur, but at 10 years old, she's feeling like a brand new puppy again after getting the good care that she needed. Marigold is spry and spunky, and always ready to go for a walk and check out the world around her. Don't let her age fool you, she still has plenty of pep in her step! Marigold just loves people and is very friendly and outgoing. She likes other dogs too and is very well behaved and polite. She would transition so easily into a great home where she will get love and attention from a good family that will love her forever. File#26817 11/7/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marigold, a Forked River Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
