Meet Ebony! This gorgeous 3 year old was rescued from a shelter and she is excited to find her forever home. This sweetheart is friendly and affectionate with people, she is more comfortable with women and does need some patience and time to warm up to men. Ebony is a playful girl and would like to find an active family where she can get plenty of playtime and exercise. She is up for heading out on walks, hikes, and has been enjoying being a running partner to her foster family. Ebony is fostered with a couple of other dogs and is very playful with them, it seems to be one of her favorite activities. She would do better with younger dogs who are as eager to run and play, the older dogs would get tired of her continued glee at playing. Ebony is also fostered with cats and has learned that they run if she chases, so no kitties for this energetic girl! She has been to the dog park and has a great time running and playing with the other dogs. This happily energetic girl has been going to doggy day camp at Camp Run a Mutt and is enjoying the playtime she gets with other dogs. She would love to find a home with another playful dog, or have the opportunity to play with another dog a few times a week. This beauty would enjoy a yard to play in, a family that will be committed to taking her to training classes, and some playtime/running time with other dogs. Please note that Ebony, true to the GSD and Border Collie breed is a higher energy, smart girl, and enjoys a lot of exercise, she will need daily running and playing time. This beauty would do well in agility training or have a job to do that will give her mental stimulation. Ebony would do well with a family that can show her patience as she opens up and adjusts to the experiences in her new surroundings, especially if there are males in the family, she needs a lot of love, time, and patience. Ebony can't wait to find a family of her own to give her all the love and attention this girl deserves. Is it you?
