Etta's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Etta's Story...
Etta might be the sweetest little girl on the planet!!! She is an absolute love bug! She was turned into the shelter in Houston. We haven't a clue why....because she is perfect!!! Her previous owners forgot to spay her and give her a monthly heartworm pill. Little Etta is now spayed and has gone through heartworm treatment. She is ready for her new life in Wisconsin! Etta is approximately 2 years old. She is crate trained and house trained. She loves other dogs! She has a super sweet disposition. She is not very vocal. She only wants to curl up on the couch with you...that will make her life complete!

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Etta, a Fort Atkinson Chihuahua/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pekingese for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pekingese breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
