What a darling family companion this serene, good-looking, brawny guy is going to be! Once settled into his new home, he will quickly form deep bonds with his family. Faithful and steadfast on one hand, he is also playful and adventuresome on the other. Curious and active outdoors, calm and laid-back indoors, this sweetly affectionate canine is a champ at snuggling! With an enthusiastic eagerness to please and genuine love of people, Biff will form a strong allegiance to his family members and be entirely devoted to them.
Happy-to-be-around and quietly confident, Biff needs a responsible, caring owner who will set firm boundaries through established limits and rules to which all family members faithfully adhere, and which will prevent him from taking liberties that would potentially get him into trouble. Such a structured environment sets Biff up for success and allows him to flourish as the polite and well-mannered, canine gentleman he, indeed, is. Intelligent as well as handsome, he learns commands with ease, and he’ll eagerly perform whatever duties he's asked to with a tail-wag and a smile. Biff already knows “sit” and walks very well on a leash. This cheerfully affectionate, extremely devoted guy delights in giving kisses and hanging out with his people. He is looking for a family who wants to reciprocate that love and devotion for a lifetime.
In order to be his happiest and healthiest, Biff will need regular mental stimulation and physical activity. His exercise needs, though, are not extreme and can be met with leashed walks, interactive play sessions, and outdoor exploration in a fenced yard. An inquisitive-nature combined with a joy for life means he is up for any and all adventures….especially when it means spending quality time with his cherished family members!
Biff is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low-active to moderately-active lifestyle. As with all dogs, a meet-n-greet with any housemate dogs will be necessary to determine compatibility prior to adoption. Direct interaction with cats is unknown and cannot be fully assessed at the shelter at this time.
