Snoop Dog's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Snoop Dog's Story...
Snoop Dog is a 9lb, 2 yr old Maltese mix boy. He was adopted from animal services at the beginning of the year with a skin allergy condition. Not only did they not bother to treat him, when it got worse they just brought him back to the shelter and dumped him. We have taken him in and he is receiving vet care. Snoop is already feeling better and is starting to play and wants to be petted (at first he was too sore to enjoy it). He is house trained, crate trained, and is good with kids and dogs (although he is scared of big dogs). He does chase cats, but seems to be getting a bit better on that. We are looking for a foster-to-adopt family that would be willing to continue his treatment (medicated baths and oral medication) for his non-contagious skin condition and give him love while he heals. Snoop Dog is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and Heartworm negative. One by One Pet Rescue is a 501c3 non profit Flower Mound rescue. We require a house with a yard, where he will be an inside dog and not left alone all day during the work week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snoop Dog, a Flower Mound Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
