My name is SAM and I am a pure breed CHOCOLATE LAB Neutered 10 MONTH OLD Puppy

I HAVE HAD A TRULY HORRIFYING START to life……. I was found  in Louisiana emaciated with a collar  deeply embedded into my skin.

The day I was found was absolutely the most miraculous day of my life!  I was fed, cleaned, medicated, vetted and cared for by good samaritans.  I will forever be grateful to them.
THERE ARE GREAT PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD!! There is hope for me and other neglected/abused dogs!

My journey over the past month has been INSPIRING AND HOPEFUL.  My wounds have been healing, and I continue to eat and gain much needed weight.  I am now living with a wonderful Foster in Connecticut, continuing to heal and grow.  I love my new 4-legged Foster sister!  she is very patient and loving with me.  We play and SHE GUIDES ME INTO A NEW WORLD OF NORMALCY THAT I HAVE LONGED FOR.

I NEED a patient and understanding owner willing to take the time to help me TRANSITION and stand on my own 4 feet!

*Good with other dogs and kids

*Understandably a bit timid, but very playful, friendly and affectionate!

*Needs a little work with house training, but is a fast learner. Making strides every day!

*Neutered UTD on vaccines
