Hi, It’s me Jasper! I am an 11 month old male Siberian Husky mix originally from Saskatchewan. My friends at SHARP rescued me from a feral life when I was 4 months old. I was adopted into a loving home who did some great work on training my basic commands. I do pull on leash, so a strong owner is needed. Unfortunately, my needs were too high for them and they had to make the very tough decision to return me to SHARP. I am a really good boy, however my feral past comes out often. I am scared of traffic and loud noises so a life in the city wasn’t working for me. I need a home in the country where it is more quiet to help me adjust to domestic life. I also need an owner experienced with fearful dogs who can jolt. I am good with other dogs and curious about cats. They fascinate me, but tend not to like me. I am not sure how I would react if a cat were to swat me or run so I need proper cohabitation training or a home with no cats. I am up to date on my vaccinations and will be adopted on a neuter contract to be done once I am more settled into my forever home. I am located in Tweed, ON and my adoption fee is $250.
