Sydney's Story...
Hi my name is Sydney! When I was just a tiny baby my mommy, my siblings, and I were living in a homeless shelter for people. Someone found out and we got thrown on the streets. A lady took us in but couldn't afford to care for us and was giving us away. Luckily foster mama saw this and stepped in! Since then we've been safe, loved, and cared for. We are all looking for forever homes now! Foster mama says I am so pretty, Im a silver tabby with two orange spots on my head, foster mama says theyre perfect kissing spots. My whole family is super friendly, we all come running to our foster mom when she comes in our room and start chattering at her waiting to be picked up. We all love love! I am hoping to find a forever family who will adopt one of my siblings with me..we love to play, sleep, and wrestle together! If not hopefully you'll have another kitty at home who needs a playmate. Love, Sydney

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
