Webber's Story...
Don’t bother applying if you’re not a hugger!

Webber is definitely a lover and not a fighter. This big, beautiful, fluffy boy loves to hug. He has that southern way of giving you a hug and a kiss every time he meets you. If you are interested in a constant, loving companion, Webber is the cat for you. He loves being near (perhaps on) his human at all times. In addition to people, Webber loves his food. This is a pretty big boy we’re talking about here. We think he’s beefing up for the Kitty Bowl coming up soon (we haven’t yet told him he’s a bit too old for that). If you’re in the area and you suddenly feel the need for a hug, come meet gentle Webber.

Webber has feline leukemia. Feline Leukemia only affects cats --it cannot be transmitted to people, dogs, or other animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Webber, a Houston Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
