Big Bertha's Story...
This pup has the chance to travel to Wisconsin on December 10th!

Hi my name is Big Bertha. My mom and siblings lived with a man who moved away and left us to fend for ourselves. We took up residency under a house. The nice neighbor fed my mom so she could feed all of us. Then one day a lady picked us up and told us we were going to have a better life and no longer would need to live under the house. Boy were we excited! I love to play but need a little guidance when it comes to inside manners. I also heard that housetraining was a must! I won't be quite 3 months when I come to Wisconsin, so I'm still just a baby. If you have the patience to help me grow into a great lady...I'm ready to call you mine!

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Big Bertha, a Fort Atkinson Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
