Facts about Terra

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Terra is a sweet, quiet female German Shepherd with a splash of something else. She is about 2 years old and about 55 pounds. She gets along well with all the dogs she has been with but gets overwhelmed by pushy rambunctious dogs so prefers a calmer companion dog in the home. Terra would love a calm affectionate home as that would match her own temperament. She is a bit shy in new situations but just waits patiently for things to calm down. Terra is great in her kennel and out in the yard. She was neglected in her previous home and hopes to find a family who will give her a warm and loving home for the rest of her life.

If you are interested in meeting/adopting Terra, please fill out our adoption questionnaire which you can find at http://www.scgsr.org/adoption/aq/.

Terra is Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and comes with a collar, all included in adoption fee.

If adopting is not a possibility right now, could you join us in saving lives by giving a dog a temporary safe place to live for a week or more? Contact us to find out about fostering. Please refer to our website for contacts www.SCGSR.org.

About Second Chance German Shepherd Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Second Chance German Shepherd Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run, foster-based German Shepherd Dog rescue serving the greater Bay Area and Sacramento/Roseville regions of Northern California. Our primary focus is rescuing German Shepherd Dogs from life threatening situations in overcrowded shelters where they are in danger of being put to sleep. We adopt our dogs into loving, responsible permanent homes. German Shepherd Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, and receive basic veterinary care while they await placement in their permanent homes. We work with area shelters and other rescue groups to develop a network of support for German Shepherd Dogs in need.
