Amber's Story...
Amber is a young 6-8 week old baby that was left outside the local shelter. She cried for her mama and siblings for awhile, but is now at home with us and happy. She is undergoing treatment for a slight upper respiratory infection and is eating well, and overall feels fine. She is a very trusting little kitty, and didn't even fuss too much over her bath. She did have a lot of fleas, but that is now under control. Poor thing must have been terribly miserable. She enjoys attention, even from our active 2 year old grandson.

Act quickly to adopt Amber. Pets at this Rescue Group may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Union Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Union, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Union.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union paves the way for another one to be saved.
