Dutchess is a 7yr Pug/Chihuahua mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter. She was frightened in the shelter and the staff noticed that there was blood in her urine and she was exhibiting signs of an upper respiratory infection and needed medical attention. Our vet examined her and discovered that she had 4 large stones in her bladder that needed to be removed immediately! Dutchess underwent surgery to remove the stones and is now a very happy and healthy girl! She is eating a prescription food, Royal Canin SO dog food, which costs $25 for a month supply.
Dutchess is great with other dogs, kids and cats. She isn't much of a barker but she certainly is a great lap dog. Dutchess likes to go for walks and has such a dainty prance and so much pep in her step. She would make a great furry friend to any loving family!
