Facts about Frankie

  • Breed: American Bulldog Mix
  • Color: White - With Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Frankie is 4 yrs. old. He and his companion Sneakers came to NCCR when his mom entered hospice. We tried to place Frankie and Sneakers in a home together but that didn't work out. Sneakers had ACL surgery and she cannot participate in all the play that Frankie desires! Sneakers has a home and Frankie is still looking! We were told Frankie didn't like most other dogs, but we have been able to pair him with some other dogs as he LOVES to play. Frankie is fine with cats, cautious of men in hats, he will swim until exhausted and has great housemanners. Frankie knows sit and shake and LOVES to play ball and will do so as long as you will play with him.

Stop in and meet him and see what a great dog he is!

Frankie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175.00.

Frankie is sponsored by: Ron and Brenda Johnson, James and Tina McCroskey, Don and Joanne Pochopin, Jill Reese and Tillie Mae and Suzanne Wise. Thank you!

To promote respect and compassion for all creatures through humane education. To reduce pet overpopulation by increasing public awareness of the need to spay and neuter companion animals. To maintain and operate a shelter for dogs and puppies. NCCR is located in Westfield, NY which is between Erie, PA and Buffalo, NY.

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you would like to learn more about a specific dog or dogs, please email us at adoptions@caninerescue.org. Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue has open Monday through Saturday from 1-3 p.m. and the third Saturday of each month from noon to 3 p.m. If you are unable to visit during those hours, just let us know.

Our Adoption Process...

All puppies/dogs over 16 weeks of age will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The adoption fee is $175.00(includes spaying/neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, worming and microchip). If the puppy is too young for altering at the time of adoption, the adoption fee is $250. Adopter must sign contract agreeing to spay/neuter by specified date in the adoption contract. $125 is returned to adopter upon proof of spaying/neutering. The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.

We try to match each dog with its new home so that chances for a successful, lifetime placement are much higher. Each interested party is asked to fill out an application (www.caninerescue.org) which is then reviewed and processed. References are required.
