Tara's Story...
FOSTERED IN MISSISSIPPI; I am 18 mths old. I am a playful and loving dog. I love long walks and running with other play mates. My brother is almost a twin, his name is Toby and is also available for adoption.
I have been in a rescue for over a year and always overlooked. My old rescue home closed, so now I am with Bless Their Hearts Animal Rescue. I don't mind other pups or dogs. I walk great on a leash and really, really want a forever home. I am heart worm negative.
My adoption fee is $350.00 and includes the transport fees, up to date vaccines, spayed/neutered, de wormed, Micro Chip and on flea and heart worm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tara, a Allentown Greyhound/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound/Pointer for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Greyhound/Pointer dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound/Pointer breeders who help with Greyhound/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
