I am housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Meet Winnie. Shes had a rough start to life. We rescued her from a backyard breeder who was keeping her and her siblings in a storage shed. We made sure that her parents were spayed and neutered through our free spay and neuter program. Winnie became ill when she was about 3 months old. She was hospitalized and it turns out she had a antibiotic resistant staph infection. She recovered but had a little scar tissues on her lip which makes it seem like she is always smiling. Then - she was adopted. In this home - she got a cut on her foot which was not treated quickly and again - turned into a raging infection. She had to have 2 toes amputated. We had biopsies sent to a lab in NorCal and was tested for autoimmune disease. Happily her test came back negative and it seems she just had some bad luck. However - dont let her past fool you. Shes a happy, joyful dog who loves everyone she meets. She loves wrestling and playing with other dogs, and going for walks. Shes a regular puppy and needs a loving home. Her only "special needs" are that she needs someone to check her over for cuts and nicks to make sure they are treated in a timely manner. She will be spayed, chipped and up to date on shots upon adoption. We require an application, home check, contract and adoption fee. Thank you for choosing to adopt and saving a life.
