My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katie is the tan one (spaniel/terrier mix) and Luna is the white and beige (beagle/terrier mix). We estimate them to be about 8 months old and weigh about 23 pounds each. We don't know if they are bonded but we do know they thoroughly enjoy each other so they can be separated but it would need to be in a home with another dog to play with. Both are responsive to come commands and sit. They are good on leashes with only minimal pulling and are fine in the car. They are very energetic and love to play together which they do with enthusiasm. They are both crate and kennel ( 6 foot square) trained although Katie needs more coaxing to go into both kennel or crate. They have not gone in either one but can be destructive to their bedding especially in the kennel if left for more than a few hours. They are bright and attentive to noises and will let me know if someone comes into the driveway. They love to run around the yard and would recommend some outdoor space for them. They did well with other dogs, cats and kids while in rescue. I would say they are very affectionate and love to be curled up on the couch with me especially at the end of day.

Katie is a little more timid and takes awhile to warm up to someone she does not know.

Katie and Luna are currently in a home where they will need some extra house training with a family who has the patients and time to give to help them be the best dogs they can be.

Their adoption fee is $350 each or we can make a special adoption rate if a potential adopter would like to adopt both. The fee covers their transport to get from the TX rescue to their foster home in WA, the vaccinations including rabies tag and certificate, spay and microchip. They are currently being fostered in Union, WA. Please email us for the application today!
