Farrah's Story...
Meet Farrah. Farrah was actually a stray around the neighborhood who continuously came up a yard sale 3 days in a row skinny, hungry and begging for attention. At the time she was broughy in since it was over 100 degrees and stormy. She has since been accepted into Friends of Rescue and officially available for adoption! She is slowly getting used to the dogs and cats in her foster home. She's not afraid to tell the dogs to back off! She is the sweetest cat seen in mher foster moms life. She could care less about playtime, she literally just wants your attention and love. All of your attention. Please! Farrah is such a purrbox! She would be great in a quiet household with a family that is home often and can cuddle with her ! She's got fierce eyes but not a mean bone in her body! She loves sleeping in her kitty bed, too! All this sweet girl wants is to love and be loved. (: for more information or to send in an application please email !

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farrah, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
