Parker's Story...
Meet Parker! Parker is a 13 month old neutered St. Bernard looking for his forever home. He currently weighs about 100 lbs. and has a large amount of time to grow. Parker is currently being fostered he came to us from Alabama. He has been bounced around quite a bit so is very clingy to people because this beautiful baby just wants to be loved. He is great with other dogs and his foster mommy will be testing with cats later this week. The problem that could arise is by no means wants to hurt the cat but play and while doing that could cause injury. Please call Jen at 484-375-8052 or email us at: saintbernardrescueeast@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Scanton St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Scanton, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Scanton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scanton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scanton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scanton paves the way for another one to be saved.
