Darcy had a rough start to life and found herself heartworm positive and in a very high kill shelter in Texas. Luckily rescue stepped in and since then she has blossomed! She has put on some needed weight, completed heartworm treatment and traveled to Michigan where she is ready for a new forever home. At 6 years old and 55lbs, Darcy is a perpetually happy dog with a tail that never stops wagging. All she wants in life is to be near her people - she'll be your shadow if you let her. She also adores other dogs and loves to kiss their faces. Cats we are unsure about. Darcy takes a little longer to warm up to men than woman, but with a little patience she'll be begging for belly rubs in no time. Darcy is very well-behaved, never destroying anything or having an accident in the house. She is a rather quiet girl, rarely ever barking. If allowed, she will give you face nuzzles and sleep right next to you in bed. She smiles and wiggles her body out of excitement as a greeting every time you come home. Darcy loves to cuddle, doesn't pull on the leash and has a weakness for peanut butter and stuffed toys. She would be a great addition to any family! If you think Darcy is a match for you, please send an inquiry today. Darcy is fully vetted and microchipped.
