Tammy's Story...
Tammy is a sweet 10 year old Lab that was surrendered to a NJ shelter for being "too old". We think she's perfect!:) Tammy is an older gal but she still has a ton of pep left and is in good health. Tammy LOVES food(what Lab doesn't?:) and loves to play ball. She's also dog, kid, and cat friendly. She's a great dog ! Tammy is settling in nicely with her foster family and will be ready for a FOREVER family soon! Please contact us at pickyourpaw@gmail.com or call Tammy at 908-433-1796 for more info on Tammy the Lab :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tammy, a Shrewsbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Shrewsbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Shrewsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shrewsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shrewsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shrewsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
