  • -Chase has an undiagnosed condition sometimes causes Chase to have episodes, but it doesn't affect his spirit or quality of life - loves dogs , people, everyone
  • - not mouthy at all, but certainly knows how to use his tongue and give kisses
  • - a lazy lab, loves to run and play but not super energetic
  • - easily occupied with a toy or ball - gives the absolute best cuddles, and think he's a lap dog
  • - knows sit and lay down - wants to greet and jump up on people, so will need some training to reinforce his response to "sit" and "down"
  • - follows his foster mom fro m room to room, very loyal!
  • - crate trained, potty trained, knows to go outside, will definitely need frequent breaks and regular schedule to enforce potty training in a new home

If you are interested in adopting this dog please visit this link to get the adoption process started.

We hold adoption events from San Francisco to the South Bay. Most dogs will be ready to go home the day of the adoption event. We accept credit cards and cash for our adoption fees. While adoption events are a great showcase for these amazing dogs, you don't need an adoption event to adopt a dog.  Check out our adoptable pups, submit an application, and then meet them at their foster home!

We try to post the dogs that are attending on Facebook before the event, please visit and like us on Facebook.

About Copper's Dream

About Our Rescue Group...

Copper's Dream Animal Rescue focuses its work on pulling dogs from high kill shelters like Bakersfield, where 50% of the 500 new dogs taken in every week are put down. We spay and neuter these animals, get them up to date on vaccinations, and then house them until loving, permanent homes can be found. To learn more or donate, visit:

What does the adoption fee cover? Vaccinations, spay/neuter, usually kennel cough treatment, any other medical issues and transportation and/or boarding fees if necessary. Every dollar of your adoption fee goes toward the care and treatment of our dogs.
