WILLIE - ID#A344149

Willie was brought to the shelter when their person decided not to keep them. He has blossomed while here. Willie is very friendly; he's got a spectacular black and white coat, just check out those markings! He is reported not to like dogs much and has never come in contact with small kids. He lived indoors and has learned all the appropriate manners and behaviors for that life.

I am a neutered male, white and black domestic shorthair.

I am estimated to be about 6 months old.

I weigh approximately 6 pounds.

I have been at the shelter since 10/22/2016.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
