Lindy is a 13-month-old Black Lab mix at about 40 lbs. She was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas and is now in Seattle waiting for her forever home! This girl's a true lab - she could not be happier running around the yard, chasing and retrieving balls. She is frisky, perky, and has lots of energy! Her ideal family is an active one who will enjoy having her along for daily walks/runs and weekend adventures. She also loves getting belly rubs and is very sweet. Lindy is house-trained, and needs further training on her leash manners.
Lindy has exhibited dog-reactivity and will require an owner that is confident handling this type of behavior and commit to her training/socialization in order to overcome it. A home with either another stable, large dog or a home without dogs will best coincide with this.
Adoption Fee: $595 - Includes spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, heart worm test, grooming, microchip, boarding fees, training, health certificate and transport cost from Texas to Seattle. This adoption fee not only contributes to the rescue and care of Lindy, but of hundreds of other high-risk dogs every year.
