Brick's Story...
Brick is a gorgeous and fun hunky goof of a four-year-old, 70-pound, male brindle and white Mastiff-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Brick is an energetic and sweet soul who gets along with other dogs. He has learned to sit on command but hasn’t quite mastered all of life’s social graces. He spent his puppy-hood tied to a fence in Waukegan and was lucky to have been rescued.

He’s still a little bit mouthy, so he’s not recommended for households with small children. He does love to play ball and gets snuggles with his favorite people.

Brick’s adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. He is very healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. He is currently at the Tails of Hope shelter in Highland Park, Illinois.

To meet and possibly adopt Brick, please fill in the adoption application at: http://tailsofhope.org/availabledogs.html and follow up by contacting tailsofhope@aol.com or 847-557-9554.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brick, a Chicago Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
