Little Peanut-butter Cookie was on the rescue only list because NO ONE at the shelter was able to hold her. The scared little 6-pound dog then met the woman who became her foster mom and within seconds, Little Peanut-butter Cookie was in her arms and seeking love.
This little 2.5 year-old dog is not just one of the cutest creatures on the planet with her gorgeous red coat and adorable underbite, she is sweet, affectionate, playful and friendly! She loves other small dogs. She lives with a cat that she respects. And she loves sunning in the yard and of course, chasing sun spots throughout the house! BUT...her favorite thing to do like is to sit on her foster mom's lap lavishing her with love.
Little Peanut-butter Cookie has an unusual gait due to her her front legs being unusually long for her body. The gait does NOT slow her down as she runs around the house chasing her toys. These long legs add to her uber cute appearance.
Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial medical and other costs in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we must charge an adoption fee. The adoption fee for Peanut is $250.
If you are interested in adopting Peanut, please complete our online adoption application at http://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process.html. One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.
