Karma's Story...
Hi, my name is Karma. I am 10 months old, still very puppy-ish and eager to learn new things. I have already mastered sit and am working on the other commands. Going to dog class would be beneficial for me. I love playing with my stuffed toys and chewing on Kongs as well as my antler. I prance when I go for walks and love to play with all the dogs I have met. I love to snuggle and be with my person so more than 3 hours alone is not for me. I am good with kids 10 years and above.
(An adoption donation of $300 is required.)
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at and ask for the adoption application form. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Karma, a Gig Harbor Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet for sale in Gig Harbor, or seeking a Whippet dog from a breeder in Gig Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gig Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gig Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet breeders who help with Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gig Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
