Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trinket was impounded as a stray at a high kill shelter and no one ever came for her. We saved her and now she is safe. Trinket will need an experienced owner who is a strong pack leader, patient, consistent and will continue her training. She has some resource guarding issues with her food bowl and certain toys. She is receiving training and is showing much improvement. She is about 1 year old, 16 pounds and is friendly with people. She will sit on your lap for pets and she likes to cuddle. She is good with most dogs she knows and needs proper introduction and supervision to new dogs. She does best with calm dogs who are not dominant or a threat because she is a bit alpha with and is still learning social skills with dogs. So she may need to be an only dog or with someone who has experience with alpha dogs. Trinket is young and very energetic/high energy and will need someone who has the time to train and exercise her. She listens very well, is eager to please and is very responsive to training. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. We will not adopt her in a home with young children. We will provide a 2 hour in-home training session with our professional trainer to whomever adopts her.
