Skinny Mini's Story...
Hello friends, my name is Skinny Mini! I'm a beautiful chihuahua mix born in 2010. I currently weigh about 11 pounds.

I recently made my way all the way here from New Mexico. Although it's been a long journey to get here I'm looking for a fresh new start at life here in Colorado. I would love to go out and explore this beautiful place with you. I would make a wonderful companion and I just know you'll fall in love with me the moment we meet. I'm an absolute sweetheart and I adore my human. I do seem to know some of my basic commands, but would love to continue my higher education with you. I'm also treat motivated and that could definitely help us both with some basic obedience training. I'm not sure if I've met any fur siblings yet, so I would love to meet any potential fur siblings before going to my forever home.

Don't I sound like the perfect addition to your family? Ask the front desk to meet with me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skinny Mini, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
