Kemah's Story...
Hello friends! My name is Kemah! I'm a handsome male Chihuahua mix born in 2014! I currently weigh about 10 pounds.

I came here to MaxFund as a stray. Can you believe a precious boy like me was found out in the streets wandering around?! Luckily, a friendly gentleman found me and brought me in. I'm looking forward to a fresh new start and am currently on the hunt looking for my forever home. I'm a very friendly and lively boy that is enthusiastic about life! I always enjoy the company of my humans and tend to make friends with everyone I meet. I also love to jump into laps and snuggle up for cuddles. Don't be surprised if I sneak in a few kisses too! In terms of my activity level, I'm low key. I would be happy to join you for leisurely walks around the neighborhood.

I've been doing well with dogs here at the shelter. I love my playgroup time! However, I'd still like to meet any potential fur siblings to make sure we can coincide.

Don't I sound like the perfect catch? What are you waiting for? Ask the front desk to meet me today! I just know you'll fall in love with my charming personality when we meet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kemah, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
