Will has lots of nicknames in his foster home: Willa the Thrilla, Will the Pill, Sweet William, Willie the Dude… Will is handsome, funny, affectionate, and full of energy. He is a medium hair black ball of energy whose approximate DOB is 5/5/16 who came from a kill shelter. Will has lots of roommates, both feline and canine. He rocks the house with the resident black cat, his BFF, Yolo. And his very favorite toy is Desi’s tail which belongs to the 90 lb. black lab. Even though he is the smallest family member, he thinks he runs the show. He is fearless. Meeting a weekend visitor, Glitter, a big beautiful former foster dog, Willie strutted up to her and swatted her right in the mug. And, despite all the competition, he sleeps with his foster mom every night. He is a faithful litter box user. Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
