Heidi's Story...
Introducing the beautiful Heidi! She is about 9 months old and is spayed and ready to go! She was found as a stray with her kitten siblings in October. Heidi enjoys the company of other cats and even becomes more confident when they are around. She is a timid girl and takes a little bit of time to become comfortable. Heidi enjoys laying on fluffy blankets, she is definitely a cuddler! She has lived with her sister, Hildi, and relies on her very much. We have learned that Heidi and Hildi should be placed in a home with each other as they seem quite bonded! Could both of these girls be your forever cats?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heidi, a Michigan City Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
