Armita's Story...
Armita-Fostered in Marin County

Armita is a 2.5 yrs old spayed - 45 pounds wolfhound mix and  is by far one of the sweetest dogs you will meet.
Surprisingly her  love for people is greater than her love of treats, as she will drop a treat to just to be with you. She is a fast learner and  already knows how to sit, lay down and almost has come and stay.
Armita loves car rides, collecting all her toys in one spot and loves to snuggle in bed. Although Armita is still learning to trust men, overall she is a joyful dog with a lot of love to give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Armita, a San Jose Irish Wolfhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound dog from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
