Roxy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roxy's Story...
Roxy is a 3 year old Aussie mix, weighing about 65 lbs. Roxy is a very sweet, laid back dog who loves going outside and walks! Roxy is also housebroken and crate trained, and is very well behaved in the home. She is still a bit cautious around new people and new dogs, but warms up and is very kind once she spends some time with them. We would recommend a well behaved male canine companion, or we think Roxy could be happy as an only dog. Though Roxy is very calm in the home, we would recommend an active home for her and especially one with a fenced in yard--she is always up to do something! Roxy would love to go on long walks or hikes and spend lots of time with her new family.
Roxy's adoption fee is $300 plus MN state tax.
Application for Roxy can by found on our website at on the "applications" tab. (Note: Roxy may not be on our website yet, but if you see her here, she is available for adoption)
To respect the time of our volunteer foster homes, we do not set up meet and greets until applications have been submitted and approved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Minneapolis Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
