Let's give Sally something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving ....

Located in Uniondale , NY
After 4 months of being bounced around and losing her foster home through no fault of her own , Sally has officially become defeated . You can see it in her soulful eyes , you can see it in her demeanor , and you no longer see the pep in her paws. She feels unwanted , unloved, and betrayed by everyone she meets. I have to admit , We feel the same way after seeing so many people do the wrong thing by her and not lend a helping hand when they can . However , this doesn't mean we give up . It means we fight harder for this precious, affectionate, playful , world champion cuddler until she finds her forever home .
After all this time , We feel it would be best if she was the only pet in the home . All of the inconsistency took a toll on her and she no longer does well with other dogs, unless she has already been acclimated to them . She was found roaming the streets by a good Samaritan who brought her to the police department . It was clear she has been abused by a man , but through a little TLC and rehabilitation she actually does quite well with men ! In fact, some of her favorite people are men . She takes a few minutes to adjust to her new surroundings and people but after a few minutes , she is puddy in your hand ! All this dog wants is to love and be loved and all she has gotten in return is disappointment . If she can find a low key home with a compassionate owner who will give her daily exercise and love , she will shine like the star she truly is . Every dog I have met has been special but every once and a while you come across one that touches your soul . Sally is that dog and I know she will do the same for you if you just give her the chance .
