When this pup was dumped at an auction in Godley TX, the owner of the land kept him for several days and no one claimed him. After the auction, a wonderful lady asked about him.
The guy told her that he was fixing to take him out back and shoot him. She asked him why.
He stated, "He's the best damn dog - don't get into nothing, doesn't tear stuff up, doesn't bother anything or anyone. I just don't want a dog to take care of."
SO, she did what any animal lover would have done. She took him home. With his double coat we think he's a husky or shepherd mixed with a heeler. He's great at herding the other dogs after chores are done and it's time to go back into the house. He's a very active pup who loves to play hard. Godley is 3-4 months old (as of 11/18) and weighs maybe 20 pounds - we don't think he'll weigh more than 50 pounds when full grown..
Godley loves to give hugs and kisses. We think he will be a wonderful family dog. If you'd like to meet him, please fill out an application and ask for him by name!
