WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This girl was picked up as a stray. Her hold time was up and rescue was called to pull her from the pound to save her.
WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- Currently with foster .
**ALL ABOUT MAYA **
Two females
"we have these 2 now ready to go, ones a hound mix, ones a German Shepherd mix pup, the hound is maybe 1 year, the shepherd is maybe 6-8 months, both great dogs, both go to the washroom outside"
We have them set for vetting on Tuesday
** UPDATE **
Maya is doing well. She has settled in nicely. She likes to always be in the same room with me when I am home. Is a bit jealous of Bella and growls when Bella comes near me but not aggressive.
She is housetrained and always goes to the bathroom when let outside. I have been crating her at night and through the day when I am at work and she is fine.
She is eating well. Knows how to sit and takes treats gently.
Maya is good on the leash and doesn't pull.
She is a very nice dog and seems quite intelligent.
More to come as we learn / confirm this dogs needs.

The adoption fee does NOT cover the cost of vetting or supplies for these animals - If you cannot afford the adoption fee
(that is a fraction of actual REDUCED VETTING expenses incurred) then you should reconsider adopting.
These animals deserve forever homes, good food, regular vet care, and emergency care as needed.
Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.

Applications

It can be completed, saved and emailed back to the rescue at
petrescue@hurontel.on.ca .
1. We require a fully filled app to be considered as a possible home
2. Only the approved app will be premitted a viewing with the pet ** in the foster home **
3. ALL family members MUST meet the dog ** in the foser home** .
4. Any exsisting pets MUST attend the meet/ greet with the dog ** at the foster home ** .
5. A home visit must be completed as part of the adoption process after the inital viewing by a rescue representative.
This is not a replacement of the meet/ greet at the Foster home.
6. We do not adopt outside of ONTARIO .
7. We do not deliver dogs. If and once the adoption process is approved and complete the dog must be picked up at the
foster home
