Jack's Story...
Jack is a tan Terrier / Dachshund mix boy. He has 4 white feet and a lovely full tail. Jack also has an occasional expression that looks almost like a smirk with a raised eyebrow, when he looks at you. He takes a minute to warm up to strangers, but is nice boy. He has mastered the art of standing on the top of his big Dogloo at HALAH to be King of the Hill, pretty talented for his short legs. Jack is currently about 9 months old and will still be a small boy when he is full grown, he has just been neutered

Jack plans to be at Burleson PetSmart on Saturday, Dec 10 with HALAH's other dogs for adoption. Home At Last will be there from 11 until 3:30.
See www.halah.org for more information and photos of Jack coming soon. Visit us on www.facebook.com/Home.At.Last.Animal.Haven

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Godley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund for sale in Godley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Godley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Godley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Godley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Godley paves the way for another one to be saved.
