Brandy's Story...
Brandy - 1 year old female ShihTzu/Terrier mix. Brandy was rescued from a LA city shelter where she came in as a stray. She had been hit by a car and had a fracture pelvis. She was lucky enough that surgery was not required, she had 5 weeks of cage rest and was re-xrayed by our vet and given a clean bill of health. Brandy is a playful little dog, she does get along well with other dogs but does do some food guarding with them. She needs some work on housebreaking but is crate trained. Brandy is a tiny gal about about 7 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Redondo Beach Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
