Reuben's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reuben's Story...
Reuben and Rose are 5 month old heeler mix pups who came to us from Basehor Kansas Animal Control. They are on the lookout for their very own family (or families) to tell them #LetsGoHome. They love each other, but do not need to stay together. They are puppy playful, eager to learn, good on leash, keeping their kennel clean, and oh those puppy kisses!

Standard adoption fee for dogs is $125, which helps to cover the costs of care provided and allows us to continue our work. Email LvnCoHS@live.com for application and additional information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reuben, a Lansing Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua for sale in Lansing, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
