Becca's Story...
Becca #5698 is an adorable 4-year-old female, Pug mix. This sweetie has a big personality, once she gets comfortable, she can be hesitant at first. We think she will be a great lap dog. She loves to play with toys and enjoys fluffy dog beds. She is crate trained. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an "old" dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becca, a Waldorf Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
