Dolly's Story...
This beautiful black lab girl is one of the sweetest girls around! She is small too. About 45 pounds. She was very scared in the shelter but has definitely come around and is the funnest girl in the house, at her foster home. She is heart worm negative and on prevention. She had some skin issues that are all cleared up and her coat is just extravagant!! Dolly is doing so well in her foster home. She has learned to use the backyard for potty time, is doing great in her crate, does great on a leash, and loves her foster sister and brother doggies. Dolly is such a beautiful girl and deserves the very best life. She is being fostered in Oak Cliff, Tx

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Dallas Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
