Talk about Handsome!  Ajax is the definition of that, plus sweet, loving and eager to please.  This Flat-coated Retriever mix male was a stray that wandered up to a farm. The couple had him for a few days and planned on keeping him until he showed a great interest in their chickens.  So, with a heavy heart they had to let him go to a rescue group to find him a home without chickens.  With Ajax having such a wonderful demeanor, we feel he had been very loved and cared for in the past.  We think he is around 2 years old and weighs 93 lbs.  His leash walking does need improvement.  He is crate trained and housetraining is progressing nicely.  Ajax is great with other dogs and will make a great family companion in just about any setting.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
