Titan's Story...

From Titan's foster:
Titan is a young boy, estimated 8-12 mos, and sweet as can be, surrendered to a shelter due to a new baby. He LOVES to wrestle and play with my puppy Zoey; they can go for hours but once I separate them he will take a nice longgg nap. When my other dogs don't want to play with him he can take a hint but he really doesn't leave Zoey alone - granted she's always up for playing too, just something to keep in mind. Good news is he is not much of a jumper - just more of a clumsy horse who runs into things lol. He does well when crated and is generally quiet. He is housebroken and doesn't chew anything he isn't allowed to - he does love his chew toys, balls, and ropes. Titan is a love bug and wants nothing more than to cuddle up with his people. His idea of cuddling is stretching out on the couch, head in my lap snoring away. He walks well on a leash and tends to only use the bathroom if on a walk or if you stand out in the yard with him. When I try to leave him alone outside for whatever reason he just jumps on the back door and awaits my return. He will need work with obedience - he knows sit and down but being as young as he is impulse control could use some work.Contact for an application is Beth at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Titan, a Frederick Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
