Meet Hiatt!

Hiatt is a 3 year old Border Collie and English Springer Spaniel mix (we believe). Hiatt is an amazing boy who has been through so much in his short life and he deserves a home where he will be loved and treasured forever.

Hiatt was one special rescue. When we were alerted to Hiatt, he was living under a truck. He was extremely emaciated and upon his first vet visit we learned that he had been shot multiple time with BBs. The vet assures us that the BBs are not causing Hiatt any pain or health problems.

Since joining Stinker Nation, with lots of love from his foster mom, Hiatt has put on a bunch of weight and he is a healthy boy now! He does have a bad rear leg that was probably caused from a previous injury, but he doesn't let that slow him down! Hiatt is ready to find his forever family!

Hiatt is selective about the dogs he chooses to mingle with so he would be best in a home with no other dogs. He also does not care to mingle with cats so a no cat household is a must! Because of his size, it would probably be best if Hiatt go to an adult only home, Hiatt will need a very confident human who is willing to give him a lot of structure and positive discipline. He needs someone who will help him understand that he is part of a family, but that he is not the alpha in the family!

Hiatt is heartworm positive but he has been through a round of antibiotics and he is now on regular monthly prevention, which will kill off the heartworms over time (this is known as the slow kill method of curing heartworm).

Hiatt's adoption fee is $175 which cover his neuter, DHPP and Rabies vaccines, flea and heartworm preventive (through date of adoption), and microchip.
